Avalanche on Taylor Mountain

Teton Pass Ambassador Jay Pistono is dwarfed by avalanche debris in Coal Creek while examining a skier-triggered slide that ripped off the south face of Taylor Mountain on Tuesday afternoon. No one was injured in the massive avalanche, which deposited snow and snapped trees in the bottom of the Coal Creek drainage.
