Aurora over Shoshone Lake

The aurora borealis spreads across the night scy over Shoshone Lake last week in Yellowstone National Park. The aurora is typically seen in regions closer to the poles but is occasionally visible as south as Jackson Hole and beyond during times of increased solar flare activity.
