Nashville trash collector William Pewitt, 62, rides on the back of the garbage truck as it lumbers through the city streets. Pewitt has been working the overnight shift of the downtown route for 32 years, and he loves his job. "The smell, it's the perfume of the night," he joked. "Actually, a man gets used to the smell."
