Traffic snakes south along Idaho Highway 26 around Palisades Reservoir on Friday morning. The communities of Swan Valley and Irwin, Idaho, and Alpine have bourn the brunt of thousands of tourists and Teton Valley commuters who must detour through those communities due to the closure of Highway 22 over Teton Pass.
