Wyoming Department of Transportation and Idaho Transporation Department crews have cleared Highway 22 the large mudslide at the weigh station at mile marker 15, but a permanent solution to this area will require workers to cut in a seven-by-seven foot concrete box culvert across the road that will allow for drainage to address any future mudslides. The scale house was also damaged in the mudslide and will need repairs. Contractors gave a completion date of July 19, adding that project will not delay the opening of the the detour at the landslide that took out a large section of the road about 2.5 miles to the east.
