Brothers Miles and Mitch Furr ride in the bed of a friend's pickup out to the Flat Creek Trailhead east of the National Elk Refuge for the opening day of shed antler hunting Monday morning. The pair, who live respectively in Phoenix and Rexburg, Idaho, had been on a road trip through the West hunting for antlers. Earlier that day, they'd been in Idaho for a midnight shed opener in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest.
