David Stubbs of Jackson tosses a rope into the south fork of Garnet Canyon for a rappel of Nez Perce after summiting the 11,901-foot peak in Grand Teton National Park. The name of the peak comes from the Nez Perce (pernounced "nay pursay"") tribe of American Indians who hunted in and around Jackson Hole.
