South and Middle Fork of Darby Canyon

The long, steep spine separating the South Fork, left, and Middle Fork of Darby Canyon is seen in this view looking north from the north ridge of Fossil Mountain in the Jedediah Smith Wilderness. A hiker can be seen at far right scrambling up the steep scree field on Fossil's east flank while traversing the basins, and the great peaks of the Teton Range are visible beyond Mount Bannon at center-right.
