A Blackhawk helicopter from KIT Heli Ops removes the passive microwave repeater from Mt. Glory on Tuesday morning. The repeater, also known as the "green screen" that greeted backcountry skiers ascending the mountain for decades, was deemed unsafe by forest service officials after falling into disrepair. The helicopter also shuttled the concrete footings from the structure off the mountain during the operation.
