Astoria Bridge damage

Several beams on the Astoria Bridge were damaged Thursday morning after being hit by a semi truck that exceeded the height limit. Authorities closed the bridge in order to evaluate its structural integrity, and Bridger-Teton National Forest officials worked to plow the nearby Johnny Counts Road to temporarily service the Snake River Sporting Club.
