Astoria Bridge work

Eric Cullen, structural steel superintendent for Ryman Corp. in Cheyenne, cuts through the railing on the Astoria Bridge on Friday afternoon while doing preliminary stabilization work on the structure, which was closed in early December after being struck by a semi truck that exceeded the height limit. The crew is working to make the structure safe enough for equipment that will conduct a full inspection of the structure to evaluate whether it can be reopened to regualr traffic.
