Lucretia Finlay, 80-year-old survivor of COVID-19

Lucretia Finlay, 80, was tested for the novel coronavirus more than a month ago while experiencing symptoms. As she waited for results, her condition worsened, eventually requiring hospitalization. After four days at St. John’s Health, she recovered enough to go home, and just before being discharged — and about two weeks after being tested — her test results came back positive for COVID-19.. Finlay was told she could stop self-isolating Monday, though she says she’s still recovering from the experience.
