Bridger-Teton National Forest avalanch forecaster Bob Comey compiles a morning report in late-January at the Avalanche Lab's office at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Forecasters arrive at the lab at about 5 a.m. every morning in the winter to pour over data from the previous 24 hours and compile the morning's avalanche report by 7 a.m.
