Snow King gondola

The new gondola at Snow King Mountain is spinning but likely will not be shuttling skiers for some time to come. While the Town Hill is scheduled to open Saturday, temperatures in the previous weeks have rarely stayed below freezing to allow for significant snowmaking, and highs are forecast to reach well into the 40s through the weekend.
