Moose killed on Highway 390

The driver of an SUV and her young child escaped uninjured after hitting a cow moose Monday morning on Highway 390. Law enforcement on the scene said witnesses told them the moose came running out of the entrance of The Aspens at a full sprint and the motorist had little time to respond.
