Teton County Clerk Maureen Murphy and election judge Mike Randall feed ballots into a voting machine while processing absentee ballots Thursday at the County Administration Building. As of yesterday morning more than 5,500 absentee ballots had been received and about 4,500 votes had been cast in person, totaling about 64 percent of the county’s active registered voters. While processing of absentee ballots began Thursday, the votes will not be tallied until polls close on Election Day.
