Shoshone Lake, Yellowstone National Park

The Lewis Channel can be paddled for much of its length, but becomes shallow and too swift for paddling about a mile before Shoshone Lake. Boaters must pull or line their watercraft through this section, but Shoshone Lake is a worthwhile reward.
