Stephen Koch leads a group of clients into the Meadows in Garnet Canyon during an ascent of the Grand Teton last fall. Koch was released by Exum as a guide for his recent traverse of Jackson Lake on a snowmobile to access the Skillet Glacier on Mount Moran for a snowboard descent, though he was not acting as a guide of his party of four. Park rules state snowmobiles are only allowed on Jackson Lake for ice fishing.
