Roosevelt Arch

A visitor to Yellowstone National Park snaps a photo of the Roosevelt Arch at the park's North Entrance last week. The arch was built in 1903 and President Roosevelt, who was visiting Yellowstone that year, was asked to place the structure's cornerstone, which then took his name. The inscription at the top of the arch is from the Organic Act of 1872, the legislation that created Yellowstone National Park.
