A boat shuttle embarks from the west shore of Jenny Lake on September 14, 2017 under stormy skies, ferrying passengers to the boat dock on the lake's southeast side. Jenny Lake Boating, Inc, was recently selected by the National Park Service to continue operating the service, renewing their contract for another ten years. The shuttle closes for the season September 30.
