Barn owl

The Teton Raptor Center has a new avian ambassador, a barn owl that was brought to the facility last fall as a chick. The bird was in poor condition when it arrived, but made a remarkable physical recovery over the following months. Unfortunately the bird is almost completely deaf, which makes hunting virtually impossible. The center was then given approval to keep the owl as an educational bird.
