Jess Laughter dashes across Upper Flat Creek to a dead bull elk carcass Monday morning, the opening day of shed antler hunting on the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Laughter was able make it to the carcass first to claim the "dead head," beating out stiff competition from hundreds of other shed hunters scouring the forest.
