Spring Gulch avalanche

Crews work to clear debris from a large avalanche on East Gros Vente Butte that buried about 100 feet of Spring Gulch Road on Tuesday afternoon. The slide originated about 500 feet up the butte and deposited 15 to 18 feet on snow on the road.
